The investigation of fluid flow in fractured rocks is a key issue underground engineering. Three sandstone specimens with different roughnesses were generated by Brazilian splitting, and the geometric morphology aperture distribution obtained three-dimensional scanning technology. Fractal dimension was introduced to characterize roughness fractures. Seepage experiments rough fractures conducted analyze influence fractal contact ratio on nonlinear behavior subjected normal stresses, which proves that Forchheimer equation can better describe nonlinearity.
